When Will Every US Sports City Have INWEGO?

Did you know that if you live in Atlanta, you can pay $29/month and attend unlimited sporting events (Hawks, Braves, Thrashers, etc), college sports (Georgia Tech), concerts, festivals, comedy shows, and more?

Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it?

When I was introduced to INWEGO in 2016, my first thought was that their “ClassPass for live events” model was going to take off, and now almost exactly a year after the company’s initial launch in Atlanta, they’ve already expanded to Phoenix.

The model makes more sense than a Coinstar and it seems reasonable to assume that INWEGO’s expansion won’t stop in the Arizona. Teams and venues want human beings in their seats, people want to do things, and the company’s early growth hints that the model will thrive in every city with “stuff to do.”

The app was built by the team behind Experience, a technology company that has long thrived in the live entertainment and sports space, with top-notch UI/UX that makes it incredibly easy to book a ticket and invite friends.

In Phoenix, fans will have access to the Suns, Coyotes, Mercury, Rising FC, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship (golf), University of Arizona games, comedy clubs, festivals, and more.

Where will INWEGO go next? We think Denver, Cleveland, Detroit, Nashville, Charlotte, and Orlando all make sense, but the Experience folks are staying mum on their next targets.

One thing that’s for sure is this: if you live in Phoenix or Atlanta and love sports, INWEGO’s a no-brainer…
